This Privacy Policy describes how Keybird Software ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Just Nudge ("the App"), available at justnudge.ai and through the Shopify App Store.

1. Information We Collect

Shopify Store Data

When you install the App, we access certain data from your Shopify store, including:

  • Shop information (store name, domain, currency, timezone)
  • Customer data (name, email address, phone number, language preference)
  • Order data (order details, fulfillment status, line items)
  • Product data (product names, images, prices)
  • Cart data (abandoned cart contents and status)

WhatsApp Message Data

  • Message content sent through the App
  • Delivery status (sent, delivered, read)
  • Conversation metadata (timestamps, message IDs)

Usage Data

  • Feature usage within the App
  • Analytics and performance data

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To send automated WhatsApp messages on behalf of the merchant (abandoned cart recovery, order notifications, shipping updates)
  • To track message delivery and provide analytics and reporting
  • To improve the service, fix bugs, and develop new features
  • To communicate with you about your account or changes to the service

3. Data Processors & Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

  • Cloudflare — Hosting, edge computing, and content delivery
  • Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
  • Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform — Message delivery via the WhatsApp Business API

4. Data Retention

  • Message data is retained for 90 days for analytics and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Store data is retained while the App is installed on your Shopify store.
  • Upon uninstall, all data is deleted within 30 days.

5. GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — Request deletion of your data
  • Right to data portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format

6. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Measures include:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all communications
  • Encryption at rest for stored data

7. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with the sub-processors listed above, solely for the purpose of delivering the service.

8. Cookies

The Just Nudge marketing website (justnudge.ai) does not use tracking cookies. The Shopify embedded app uses minimal session cookies required for authentication and functionality.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
